Standard Control: - This system utilises the Combimix unit, which delivers a fixed water temperature to supply the floor heating. It is arguably the most comprehensive manual water control set available. Digital thermostats provide individual room temperature control with simple operation. Low voltage remote sensors are specified for wet areas ensuring that every area is thermostatically controlled. A seven day programmable clock thermostat governs the times to which the floor heating operates between occupied and unoccupied periods. The introduction of a wiring centre keeps all the connections neat and easy to install, as well as offering a single point for all connections to pumps and a demand signal for firing up the heat source. All together the Standard Control option combined with the core specification is an easy to install and efficient means of heating your property.

Standard Control Electrical Components.

Optimum would recommend this level of control for the smaller areas of underfloor heating where the heating requirement and fuel usage is going to be relatively small. For larger areas Optimum seriously advises that the more comprehensive iCon System is considered.
